Japanese Blade KNIFE early 1900s w/ dragon, lotus, crane raised relief picture.  The relief picture includes a lotus plant, sacred symbol of spiritual purity and a crane, bird of marital fidelity and long life, and a writhing dragon with its body lost and found in the stormy clouds through which it flies bringing thunder and life-giving rains in the Asian tradition.  Measures 10.5" long x .75" wide.  Most likely sterling silver with washed off gold created in the early 1900s. 

Condition:  Washed off gold/discoloration.  End of blade comes in and out of base.
